This was my first personal tour (dedicated car & guide) and it’s going to be very hard to go back to group tours. We took a 3-day private tour from Marrakech to Merzouga (and back) and it was a simply fantastic experience. Our guide, Ayoub, was exceptional from the first moment: kind, attentive, helpful and with a smile always ready. With him we felt completely comfortable.During the trip we made several stops in authentic and fascinating places: female communities where argan oil and rose oil are produced, a charming little oasis where alfalfa is grown, and historical sites also used as film sets. Every stage was a discovery.The accommodations were adequate and clean, but the one in the desert was really special: a magical place under a starry sky. The camel ride through the dunes was one of the most exciting moments of the tour.Ayoub made everything even more special with a lot of little attention and also taught us a few words in Berber and Arabic. Watching the sunset over the dunes, riding camels, and sleeping under a sky full of stars was simply unforgettable.I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to discover the true spirit of Morocco.Posted onVerified Amazing cities road trip Dream cities road trip ....actually it happened haha ....I'd been told that all the cities were different so that sparked my interest ....I found let's visit Morocco and it fitted my needs ...Hassan was brilliant at listening to my ideas and creating the perfect itinerary for my solo roadtrip...he picked me up from the airport and after I'd rested in Marrakech for the night he picked me up the next day and off we went...we visited as many cities as was possible in the two weeks with arranged guides where needed or Hassan telling me interesting facts about the city we were in....staying in varied places that were approved by me we travelled thru ouzarzette, Rissani and into the desert ....I loved my time there starting with a camel ride into the sunset luckily Hassan remembered my sunglasses as I mounted my camel which I thought was a lovely touch...a night in a luxury camp followed after a lovely meal and camp fire entertainment if which Hassan joined the other musicians . Sunrise then driving into a further part of the desert where I sat with nomadic people and drank mint tea then onto the lakes formed by some recent but unusual rainfall and finishing with a visit to the dark skinned peoples village where I listened to their fabulous music ..my road trip took me thru beautiful scenery and we visited chefchouen,meknes , volubilis, Casablanca , Ifrane,I enjoyed a unique birthday in the desert landscape and ate locally and traditionally as much as possible . I ...Hassan is a very safe and trusted driver and where possible my days were spent in stunning scenery , I highly recommend him and will travel again with him in a heart beat ....Posted onVerified Amazing experience We finalized the trip very close to the travel dates. But from the get go, Hassan (contact person who organized the tour) was very responsive and he maintained that throughout our trip. He addressed all the concerns quickly and got back in short time. One example is we had a 4 year old and he managed to provide a proper car seat in short time (by default, a booster seat was arranged). We took the dessert trip from Fes to Marrakech and some side travel. Our tour guide was a different Hassan. He was professional, yet friendly and accommodating; his communication was good; he showed genuine care throughout the whole trip. We travelled with him for 6 days and at the end of the trip he felt more like a friend than a guide. He made our trip memorable and hassle free.
