Privacy Policy
The terms your booking is made under, in plain language.
This policy explains what personal information Let’s Visit Morocco collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to this website and to any tour you book with us.
The short version. We collect only what we need to arrange your tour: your name, how to reach you, your passport details for hotel registration, and the practical requirements of your party. We never sell your data. We share it only with the hotels, riads, camps and guides who need it to serve you. You can ask us at any time what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
1Who we are
Let’s Visit Morocco is a registered Moroccan travel agency, operating tours since 2016, at N° 114 Anassi 1 B, 20630 Casablanca, Morocco. We are the party responsible for the personal data described here.
For anything in this policy, write to [email protected] or use the contact page.
2What we collect
Information you give us
When you enquire, book or write to us, you may provide:
- Your name and the names of everyone travelling in your party.
- Contact details: email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, and postal address where relevant.
- Passport or identity document details, needed for hotel registration and, on some tours, for permits.
- Travel details: dates, arrival and departure flights, and the accommodation you are staying in.
- Requirements that affect how we plan: dietary needs, allergies, mobility limitations, and any medical condition you choose to tell us about.
- Payment information, when you pay a deposit or a balance.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, some data is recorded without you entering it:
- Your IP address and approximate location derived from it.
- Browser and device type, and operating system.
- Pages viewed, time on the page, and the site or search that referred you.
3Why we collect it
We use your information to:
- Answer your enquiry and prepare an itinerary and a price.
- Arrange and run your tour, including bookings with hotels, camps, guides and drivers.
- Contact you about your trip before, during and immediately after it.
- Meet legal obligations in Morocco, including guest registration and accounting records.
- Understand which pages of this website are useful, and fix the ones that are not.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, in any circumstances.
4Who we share it with
To deliver a tour we pass the minimum necessary information to the people providing it:
- Hotels, riads and desert camps, for your reservation.
- Drivers and licensed local guides assigned to your tour.
- Transport and activity providers where your itinerary includes them.
Every accommodation in Morocco is required by law to register its guests with the police. This is why passport details are requested at check-in, and it is not something any operator can waive.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
5Cookies and third-party services
This website uses cookies and similar technologies for a small number of purposes: keeping the site working, remembering your language, protecting forms against automated abuse, and measuring traffic in aggregate.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used. It sets cookies and processes your IP address. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on.
- Security and delivery. Cloudflare sits in front of this website to filter malicious traffic and speed up delivery, and processes connection data to do so.
- Forms. Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from bots. It does not track you across sites.
- Embedded content. Pages may embed maps or video. Those providers can set their own cookies, over which we have no control.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may stop parts of the site working as intended.
6How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Booking records are kept for as long as Moroccan accounting and tax rules require. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics service. When information is no longer needed for any of these purposes, we delete it.
7Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
- Stop sending you anything promotional. Every marketing message we send can be unsubscribed from, and asking us directly works just as well.
- Provide your information in a portable form, or restrict how we use it.
Write to [email protected] and we will respond. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
8How we protect it
This website is served over an encrypted connection, access to booking information is limited to the people who need it, and we ask our suppliers to handle what we send them with the same care. No system connected to the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise; what we can say is that we collect as little as possible and share it no further than necessary.
9International transfers
We are based in Morocco, so information you send us is processed there. Some of the services described above, such as analytics and security providers, process data outside Morocco, including in the European Union and the United States.
10Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Where children travel on a tour, their details are provided by the accompanying adult who books.
11Photography
We occasionally photograph tours and may use the images in our marketing. If you would rather images including you or your family were not used, tell your driver or email us and we will not use them.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be published on this page, and the date shown at the top will change. The version that applies to your booking is the one published when the booking was confirmed.
