About This Tour

1 day · Agadir

An hour inland from the Agadir seafront the Tamraght river has cut a gorge through the High Atlas foothills, leaving a run of clear rock pools shaded by palms and oleander. It is called Paradise Valley, and it is the easiest possible break from a beach holiday.

The day pairs the valley with Imouzzer des Ida Outanane, a village above the gorge known for its waterfalls and its honey, and with a stop at one of the women's argan cooperatives of the Souss — the only region on earth where the tree grows in any number.

Practical travel notes

  • Pricing is per group rather than per person, so the cost per head falls as your party grows — tell us how many you are and we will quote.
  • Every tour is private. The itinerary below is the shape of the trip, not a fixed timetable, and your driver will adapt it to how your day is going.
  • Bring layers. Days are warm and desert nights are cold in every season, and mountain passes are colder again.
  • Comfortable closed shoes matter more than anything else you pack, especially for the dunes and the gorges.
  • Tell us at the time of booking about dietary needs, allergies, mobility limits or anything medical, so we can plan around it properly.
  • Water levels change with the season. Spring is the best time to swim; by late summer some pools are low or dry, and your driver will tell you honestly what to expect on the day.
