Day 1: Marrakech ⇢ High Atlas Mountains ⇢ Merzouga desert(Camel Trek & Night In desert)

Your 2-Day Desert Tour Marrakech to Merzouga begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or riad. As you leave Marrakech, you will journey through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, pausing to take in the breathtaking scenery. After a scenic lunch stop, you will head to Merzouga, your destination.

In the afternoon, camels await to guide you through the Erg Chebbi Dunes. You will pause atop a high dune to witness a mesmerizing sunset. Then, you will continue your camel ride to the desert camp, where you will find your private tent. After freshening up, savor a delicious dinner and gather around a campfire for drumming and Berber songs.

Day 2: Merzouga desert ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah ⇢ Marrakech

Today, we recommend that you wake up early in the morning to watch a magnificent sunrise. After a delightful breakfast, we will depart from the camp in a 4×4 car, heading to the town of Merzouga. From there, our journey takes us back to the vibrant city of Marrakech, with several stops en route, including a lunch break.

A memorable highlight of the journey is a stop at the panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, an iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. This remarkably well-preserved fortified village has also become a favorite filming location for international productions, including Kingdom of Heaven, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and the acclaimed TV series Game of Thrones, all of which have used its dramatic setting as a backdrop.

We will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and drop you off at your riad. This concludes your 2-day desert tour from Marrakech.

We advise beginning your desert expedition at 08:00 AM on Day 1, though this can be adjusted based on your preference.
