Itinerary:

We will start our 5 Days Tour Marrakech To Desert by picking up from your Marrakech lodging—hotel, Riad, and transported across the well-known High Atlas Mountains chain, over the Tizi N Tichka pass (2260 m), which is the highest point in Morocco.

When you arrive at the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, you will be wowed by the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes and Berber villages. You will then be taken on a walking tour to discover more about the history of the Kasbah and how it was one of the most likely to seek locations for the filming of many illustrious films, including “Lawrence of Arabia (1962), “The Jewel of the Nile (1985), “Queen (2013).

The next stop will be Ouarzazate; A city called Hollywood of Africa; where you will be spending the first night of your 5 days Desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert.

After breakfast, you will continue your 5 days desert trip from Marrakech to the Merzouga Sahara Desert by traveling via the Draa Valley and across the Anti-Atlas Mountains’ volcanic rock formations to Agdez and Tamnougalt. Then, as you approach Dades, you will pass through Nkob, a small Berber village noted for its many Kasbahs and used as a starting point for treks across the Jabel Saghro (Saghro Mountain).

On the route to Rissani, a Saharan village regarded as the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty that has long been known for its customary enormous market, if not the most significant and largest in the southeast of the country, where many nomads congregate for either buying or selling. The Erg Chebbi surrounding towns and the Merzouga desert are both 35 kilometers away from the Rissani market.

Additionally, you’ll be traveling to one of the most popular desert locations, the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert, where you’ll ride a camel to the camp while watching the sunset over the sand dunes. There, you’ll have dinner, listen to music (Berber drums), and spend the night in a comfortable tented camp.

You are experiencing a unique morning in the Sahara today. It was worth getting up early to soak in the breathtaking views of the sunrise over the sand dunes, before you ate breakfast, showered, and rode the camels back to the starting point to meet your driver at the dune line.

Then go off on an off-road discovery trip to the nearby villages, including Hassi Labied and Khamlia village, which are home to many musicians with dark skin who are known for loving Gnawa music, which originated in Sub-Saharan Africa.

After visiting the small, deserted village of Mefes, which was formerly famous for its lead mining, go on a date with a nomad family who lives close to the Erg Chebbi dunes.

You can relax in your lodging in the afternoon or go back to the dunes to watch the sunset one more time. You could also spend an hour ATV quad biking on the dunes to finish off your day (Not included in the tour price). The hotel is where you spend the night.

After a healthy breakfast at your hotel, you meet your driver and head out on your journey from the desert to Dades valley, stopping along the way in Erfoud, a little town famous for its fossilized rocks and its producers.

we proceeded on our journey to Todra Gorges, which is another hidden gem for rock climbers with breathtaking canyons. Before going to your accommodation in Dades Valley for the night, you might have a leisurely stroll here.

After breakfast at your accommodation in Dades, you will continue your 5-day, 4-night trip across the Marrakech desert, traveling to Kelaa Mgouna, the city of flowers, and Skoura Palmary, before returning to Marrakech through Ouarzazate and the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.

Morocco’s economy is heavily reliant on tourism to meet its financial needs. To put it another way, the Moroccan government wants tourists to feel comfortable and secure while spending their holiday and money in the country.

As a result, it devotes a significant amount of resources, particularly human resources, to ensure that all tourists are secure while in Morocco; this includes tourist police and highly qualified guides who have been accredited by the government after undergoing training.

In terms of extremism and crime rates, we can state that the occurrence of such crimes is similar to that of many European countries, as evidenced by several statistics: low and uncommon.

You could enjoy traveling on your own once you’ve learned your way around and been acquainted with the local culture. You’ll be OK as long as you’re comfortable with it and stay away from the shady areas.

It will also allow you to save some money. However, some destinations require the assistance of a professional guide; you will most likely realize this once you are in such a location, particularly that outside of towns, such as the desert, where you will need a guide to assist you with camels and other items.

We’ll ask you for a deposit to secure your tour with Let’s Visit Morocco once we’ve confirmed an itinerary that works for you/your group (tours shown on our website can be changed based on your needs). We ask that you pay the remaining balance of your trip reservation at the beginning of your tour in Morocco.
